What We Believe

At Powerhouse, our goal is to work with you to achieve holistic wellness - mental and physical WHOLE body health. We take a macro based approach to nutrition, guiding our clients to health by adjusting protein, carb, and fat intake, while also monitoring performance, sleep, digestion, and overall well being. We believe that our bodies are not meant to be in a constant dieting state, and our goal is to teach our clients to find freedom and consistency with their overall health through adequate diet.


What We Do

Powerhouse Barbell Club

Our barbell club trains as a team when possible and stays in close contact when unable to train together, making us a tight knit community of willing and hard working athletes. We also run small group fitness classes out of our Kingston location, these classes run 3-4 classes per week and include a mix of weightlifting, body building, kettlebells, and high intensity training.

Learn To Fuel Your Body Correctly

We have a rule at Powerhouse - you have to EARN the right to be in a calorie deficit. How do you earn that? By being consistent and by learning to properly fuel your body for your lifestyle and/or sport. Your health is SO important to us!

Programming

We offer different options for programming, ranging from: buying a programming cycle, working 1-on-1 in person with a trainer, working 1-on-1 with a remote weightlifting coach, working 1-on-1 to build individualized programming for your specific goals/sport, and group classes.

Build Honest Client Relationships

We pride ourselves on investing in our clients and building lasting relationships. How do we achieve this? Well, it is up to YOU. Allowing clear and consistent communication with your coach helps to build the level of trust and involvement.

Whether you are a recreational athlete who enjoys hiking and biking, or a competitive athlete making waves in your sport, we will work with you to make a plan. It is important to learn how to best fuel your body for YOUR specific lifestyle. Everyone is different and everyone has different needs.
